Application. Apply to damp skin and massage lightly. Rinse with lukewarm water.
Why it matters. Cleansing determines how the rest of the system performs. A non-stripping cleanser preserves the lipid structure that holds water in.
If skipped. Buildup blocks absorption and a stripping cleanser undoes hydration before you start. Every step that follows works harder for less.

02XO EssenceACTIVATE
Application. Apply to damp skin. Pat in layers until the surface feels lightly conditioned.
Why it matters. This is the first hydration layer. It calms the skin, supports regeneration, and prepares the surface to receive what follows. 1% exosomes, tetrapeptide, liposomal vitamin C, Gotu Kola, amino acids.
If skipped. Hydrate Serum still works, but the skin is less conditioned and less tolerant of actives. Reactive skin is more likely.

03Hydrate SerumHYDRATE
Application. Apply while skin is still slightly dewy. Press evenly into the face, neck, and decollete.
Why it matters. This step adds water-binding hydration and niacinamide-supported smoothness. Without water, the seal has nothing to hold.
If skipped. The cream that follows seals dry skin. The barrier feels softer briefly, then tight again by midday.

Application. Apply after hydration layers and before cream.
Why it matters. Defense Serum reduces environmental stress and supports barrier resilience. It helps keep hydration from disappearing under climate, pollution, travel, or daily stress.
If skipped. Hydration evaporates faster. Skin reads dehydrated again within hours, even after a full routine.

Why it matters. Recovery Cream is the default seal for dry or compromised skin. It holds the water layers in place and supports the barrier that keeps them there.
If skipped. The water you placed into the skin evaporates within the hour. Without a seal, hydration is temporary.

Because over-cleansing is one of the fastest ways to create dehydration. Gentle Cleanser removes buildup without stripping the barrier the rest of the system depends on.
