Brightness is not a product.
It is what happens
when skin renews correctly.
28
Days in a full skin cycle. Consistency changes what the surface reflects.

The Treatment Room
Tone is accumulated.
Radiance is maintained.
Uneven tone is the accumulation of events: UV, breakouts, irritation, dehydration, and time.
In the treatment room, we do not approach brightness as one product. We support renewal, hydrate the surface, seal the result, and protect it every day.
Built from treatment-room sequencing at Resonance Marin.

and evening.
Click any step to expand. Use vitamin C in the morning. Use Renew PM at night. Radiance Mask is a weekly reset and should not be layered with Renew PM on the same night.
Radiance System Sequence
AM + PMSeven products. Apply lightest to richest.
-
01Gentle CleanserCleanse
Application. Apply to damp skin and massage lightly. Rinse with lukewarm water.
Why it matters. Brightening actives perform better when the barrier is intact. If cleansing strips the skin, tone work becomes harder to maintain.
If skipped. Buildup blocks absorption and brightening actives perform unevenly. The system works harder for less.
-
02XO EssenceActivate
Application. Apply to damp skin. Pat in layers until the surface feels lightly conditioned.
Why it matters. XO Essence supports regeneration, soothing, brightening, and hydration. It prepares the skin to receive C Serum and renewal steps with better tolerance.
If skipped. C Serum and Renew PM are more likely to feel reactive on unprepared skin. Tolerance builds slower.
-
03Hydrate SerumHydrate
Application. Apply while skin is still slightly dewy. Press evenly into the face, neck, and decollete.
Why it matters. Hydration changes how light reflects from the surface. Dehydrated skin can look dull even when actives are working.
If skipped. Tone work is still happening, but the surface reads dull. Brightness becomes harder to see.
-
04C SerumTreat
Application. Apply in the morning after XO Essence and before seal or SPF.
Why it matters. C Serum uses ethyl ascorbic acid and niacinamide to support brighter tone, smoother texture, and barrier resilience.
If skipped. Tone correction loses its primary daily input. Renewal and SPF still help, but progress slows.
-
05Renew PMRenew
Application. Apply at night. Introduce gradually and do not use on the same night as Radiance Mask.
Why it matters. Renew PM supports turnover, texture, and long-term clarity. Renewal is what keeps brightness from becoming only a surface effect.
If skipped. Brightness becomes a surface effect only. Texture and long-term clarity are slower to change.
-
06Protect OilSeal
Application. Warm a small amount between fingertips and press over serum.
Why it matters. Protect Oil seals the routine and adds lipid-phase vitamin C support. It gives radiance a visible finish while supporting collagen pathways.
If skipped. The serums work, but the visible glow finish is missing. Recovery Cream can be used alone if a richer cream seal is preferred.
-
07Shield SPF 35+Protect
Application. Apply every morning as the final daytime step.
Why it matters. UV exposure is the primary tone disruptor. Without daily protection, brightening results cannot be maintained.
If skipped. UV undoes tone correction faster than the system can build it. The result does not hold.
Start Smaller
Lower-commitment entries into the same radiance logic.
focusedRadiance Pair
C Serum + Protect Oil
Daily vitamin C plus a THD vitamin C seal. The smallest entry into brightness and glow.
startRadiance starter trio
Gentle Cleanser + C Essence + Protect Oil
The focused radiance entry: cleanse correctly, treat tone daily, then seal with vitamin C oil.
Travel Support
Travel disrupts hydration and tone. Keep the travel system universal, then add radiance actives separately if needed.
Travel lightTravel Pair
XO Essence + Recovery Cream
Minimal support for low-humidity days, cabin air, and reduced routines.
Travel CoreTravel Core
Cleanser + XO + Hydrate + Defense + Recovery
Full support when climate, cabin air, or schedule disrupts hydration and barrier function.
Enhance the system.
Use these when tone needs more renewal, more recovery, or more protection.
Weekly Reset
Radiance Mask
Clears buildup so brightness appears faster and more evenly. Use on mask nights, not on the same night as Renew PM.
Stabilizing Seal
Recovery Cream
Use when skin needs barrier repair after renewal or when Protect Oil alone is not enough.
Regeneration Booster
XO Serum
Supports recovery, resilience, and visible luminosity over time.
Protect + Detox
Defense Serum
Add when irritation, pollution, or environmental stress interferes with consistency.
The Science
Uneven tone is pigment production on a delay.
Dullness is cells that stayed too long.
The system addresses both.
Uneven tone
+Post-inflammatory pigmentation and UV-induced melanin both require consistency, barrier support, and daily protection.
Dullness
+Surface buildup reduces light reflection. Renewal clears the surface so brightening treatments appear faster.
Renewal
+Renew PM and Radiance Mask support turnover in different ways. Alternate them instead of layering them.
Common triggers
+UV exposure, post-breakout inflammation, hormonal shifts, dehydration, and irritation all affect tone.
Treatment Room Notes
Brightness is built
by consistency.
Use C Serum consistently.
+Vitamin C works through repetition. Apply daily, then protect the result.
Do not stack renewal.
+Renew PM and Radiance Mask are both active interventions. Alternate them instead of layering them.
Hydrate before you brighten.
+Dehydrated skin reflects light unevenly. XO Essence and Hydrate Serum make tone work more visible.
SPF is part of the treatment.
+UV exposure is the fastest way to interrupt tone correction. Shield SPF 35+ is part of the system, not an afterthought.
Questions
Before
you start.
Brightness is tone clarity. Radiance is how evenly the surface reflects light. The system supports both through vitamin C, renewal, hydration, seal, and SPF.
Renew PM is the nightly renewal step in the full system. Radiance Mask is a weekly reset. They should be alternated, not layered on the same night.
Protect Oil is the radiance seal. It contains THD vitamin C and supports glow, collagen, and barrier finish. Use it as the final oil step when skin is stable.
If you only start with one tone product, start with C Serum. If your cleanser leaves skin tight, start with Gentle Cleanser first, because brightening actives need an intact barrier.
UV exposure is the primary tone disruptor. Without daily SPF, brightening results cannot be maintained.
Yes, but start with the hydration and barrier steps first. Use XO Essence, Hydrate Serum, and Recovery Cream to build tolerance before increasing renewal.
Treat. Renew.
