POST PROCEDURE PROTOCOL
Barrier repair, accelerated recovery, and UV defense after minimally invasive treatments.
Choose options

Post-procedure skin doesn’t need a reinvention of your routine—it needs a smarter, quieter version of it. This protocol was designed in collaboration with our treating practitioners as a five-step system to use after minimally invasive treatments to help calm visible redness, support barrier recovery, and keep your skin protected while it heals.
You’ll move through a simple progression: Gentle Cleanser to remove buildup without stripping; Recovery Essence to soothe and rehydrate; Hydrate Serum to replenish water in the upper layers; Recovery Cream to cocoon the barrier in lipids; and Shield Primer SPF 30 to defend vulnerable, newly treated skin from UV.
We highly recommend adding our Post Procedure Protocol to complement professional treatments at home—introduced 7 days after your session and paused 5 days before your next one—to help maintain results and support visible recovery between appointments. This protocol is appropriate after many minimally invasive procedures (always with your provider’s approval) and is meant to accelerate comfort and visible resilience while staying firmly within what your skin can tolerate during repair.
Each product in the Basic Ritual is housed in our low-waste, aluminum-first packaging system. Housed in a 100% plastic-free aluminum tube with an aluminum cap, designed for full recyclability and reduced environmental impact. Outer carton is FSC-certified and printed with vegetable-based inks.
INSIDE THE BASIC PROTOCOL
Gentle Cleanser – Barrier-First Cleansing
A treatment-minded facial cleanser designed to remove daily buildup, SPF, and light makeup without stripping. It uses a blend of mild surfactants and hydrating humectants to respect the skin’s acid mantle and microbiome, leaving skin comfortable, not tight.
Instead of water, it is built on pure organic neroli hydrosol, a functional ingredient with its own skincare benefits. Calming cica and wasabi extract for a dose of vitamin c, and an innovative tetrapeptide that works to visibly diminish facial redness and inflammation. It brings a profound sense of calm to flushed skin and soothes temporary or persistent erythema, telangiectasia, pustules, papules, and itching.
Cica-Forward Hydration Buffer
A lightweight, fast-absorbing serum centered on centella asiatica (cica) and a multi-weight hyaluronic complex. It’s built to support barrier repair, calm visible redness, and deliver deep, water-based hydration so skin feels bouncy and resilient rather than flooded or sticky.
Recovery Cream is a deeply replenishing daily moisturizer and night cream that supports the skin’s microbiome while soothing sensitivity. Ideal for reactive, stressed, or chronically dry skin, it restores comfort, hydration, and long-term resilience.
A broad-spectrum SPF 30 that functions as both your final skincare step and a makeup-gripping primer. Designed to sit comfortably on the skin without pilling, it helps defend against UV while smoothing the look of texture and creating a softly diffused, non-greasy finish.
HOW TO USE
Days 0–3 (Immediately Post-Procedure – Provider permitting):
- Gentle Cleanser – Use lukewarm water and minimal pressure. Apply a small amount, glide over skin for a short cleanse, and rinse thoroughly. Pat—never rub—dry.
Recovery Essence – Press into skin with clean hands; avoid vigorous patting.
Recovery Cream – Apply a generous but even layer to cocoon the skin. - Shield Primer SPF 30 – Introduce as soon as your provider clears you for sunscreen (often within 24–48 hours for many minimally invasive treatments, but timing can vary). Use on all exposed areas during the day.

TIPS FROM THE SPA
In the treatment room, we think of post-procedure care the way we think of surgical sutures: small details that dramatically affect the final outcome. This protocol was built to extend the quality of your practitioner’s work into the days and weeks that actually determine how your skin looks and feels long term.
For clients doing a series of RF, microneedling, or other minimally invasive treatments, we follow a simple rule: introduce the Post Pocedure Protocol 7 days after your session. This window gives your skin time to recover from in-clinic work, benefit from home support, and then clear the decks again before your next procedure.
In the immediate post-procedure window, think “cloud hands, not scrubbing hands.” Use plenty of Gentle Cleanser and water so your fingers glide, not drag. Press essences and serums into place instead of rubbing. Let Recovery Cream melt under your palms before you lay it onto the skin—no massaging, no tools, no washcloths until your provider says it’s safe.
Newly treated skin is especially vulnerable to UV and heat. Use Shield Primer SPF 30 every morning (and reapply), avoid hot yoga, saunas, and very hot showers in the first few days, and sleep on a clean pillowcase with your face slightly elevated. In spa terms, you’re minimizing additional inflammation so that all of the repair energy can go where it’s needed most.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Basic Ritual Kit includes three daily essentials: our Gentle Cleanser, Hydrate Serum, and Shield Primer SPF 30. Together, they create a complete minimal routine that cleanses, hydrates, and protects without unnecessary steps.
This kit is ideal if you’re just starting a skincare routine, prefer a minimalist approach, or need a simple, dependable system while you reset an overworked barrier. It’s designed to suit most skin types, including normal, combination, and mildly sensitive.
Yes, the Basic Ritual is built around barrier-supportive, hydration-focused formulas and a gentle cleanser. However, because every skin is unique, we recommend patch testing new products and introducing the kit gradually if your skin is highly reactive or medically managed.
Use Gentle Cleanser first, then apply Hydrate Serum to clean, slightly damp skin, and finish with Shield Primer SPF 30 as your final morning step. In the evening, you’ll use Gentle Cleanser followed by Hydrate Serum, optionally adding a richer cream afterward if your skin needs more moisture.
Absolutely. Think of the Basic Ritual as your foundation. Once your skin is stable, you can add targeted treatments—like exfoliating acids, brightening serums, or richer night creams—while keeping this three-step system as your non-negotiable core.
Many oily or acne-prone clients do well on this routine because it’s lightweight, non-occlusive, and focused on gentle cleansing and smart hydration rather than heavy occlusives. If you are actively breaking out or under a dermatologist’s care, check with them first and introduce the kit slowly to monitor how your skin responds.
Usage varies, but with twice-daily cleansing and serum application—and daily application of Shield Primer SPF 30—most clients find the Basic Ritual Kit lasts approximately 6–8 weeks. Consistent use during that time is usually enough to start seeing changes in texture, hydration, and overall skin comfort.
