We’ve recently given our aluminum tubes a little refresh — nothing dramatic, just a gentle design update that we hope feels even more refined and aligned with who we are becoming. But if you’ve picked one up lately and thought “Wait, did they put less product in here?” — you’re not alone. And we’re here to clear that up.

First things first: you’re still getting exactly the amount of product stated on the label. Always. Whether it says 1oz, 2 oz or 3oz, that’s precisely what’s inside. Every time.

So why does the tube sometimes feel a little… light?

It all comes down to how we fill them — and why we chose to do things this way.

Room to Breathe. Room for Care.

Unlike many brands that rely solely on automated machines, our tubes are filled by real people. This allows us to maintain a level of care, consistency, and integrity that we truly believe in. But it also means we need a bit of extra space in the tube so that the filling process is smooth and reliable.

Our aluminum tubes are therefore intentionally a little bigger than the product amount they hold. This small detail makes a big difference for our production team, giving them the flexibility they need to work cleanly and efficiently — without wasting a drop.

The Double Crimp: More Than Just a Pretty Fold

Once filled, each tube is sealed using a method called double crimping. This technique involves folding the aluminum twice to tightly seal the contents, keeping your product fresh and secure. It’s not just about aesthetics —  it’s about integrity and safety.

So while it may look like there’s space at the end, it’s sealed that way for a reason.
