Brightening Antioxidant Concentrate
Choose options

Designed as a foundational step in a modern, minimalist skincare routine, C Serum delivers brightening and protective benefits in a formula that feels effortless to use every day. Ethyl ascorbic acid — a stabilized, deeply penetrating form of vitamin C — works alongside niacinamide to visibly refine tone, smooth uneven texture, and support a more resilient barrier. The water-light texture absorbs instantly, making it ideal for morning use under SPF or layered with Hydrate Serum for added comfort.
Its gentle yet effective profile reflects the needs expressed most often in the spa: clients wanting real brightening power without the irritation of traditional vitamin C serums. C Serum answers that need with a balanced, easy-to-layer formula that stays stable, stays comfortable, and supports long-term skin clarity.
Result: Consistent use helps reveal smoother texture, a more even tone, and a visibly brighter, healthier-looking complexion.

KEY ACTIVES
- A next-generation, highly stable vitamin C derivative that converts into pure L-ascorbic acid within the skin. Its dual water- and oil-solubility improves penetration, enhances brightening, supports collagen, and reduces irritation compared to traditional L-ascorbic acid.
- A naturally soothing brightener rich in glabridin — known for reducing the look of dark spots and uneven pigmentation. Helps interrupt discoloration pathways while calming visible redness, amplifying the serum’s overall brightening effect.
- A plant-derived humectant that enhances ingredient delivery while boosting smooth glide and hydration. Provides a comfortable, non-sticky finish.
- A barrier-strengthening multitasker that supports a more even tone, refines pores, calms visible redness, and improves overall skin resilience. Works synergistically with vitamin C for balanced brightening.

TIPS FROM THE SPA
Born in the spa, this formula reflects practitioner insight: clients needed a brightening serum that offered real results without irritation — something that could integrate seamlessly between treatments and support visible clarity week after week. C Serum was developed as this universal, daily antioxidant anchor.
Layer C Serum beneath shield primer spf 35 in the morning to amplify your skin’s environmental protection and enhance your overall daytime glow.
Pair C Serum with Protect Oil to create a multi-phase brightening system. The water-based vitamin C in C Serum absorbs quickly into the skin’s upper layers, while the oil-based vitamin C in Protect Oil reaches deeper, lipid-rich layers. Together, they provide a more complete, multi-depth approach to radiance — similar to how practitioners layer water- and oil-phase actives during in-spa treatments.
Apply after a gentle exfoliant with Radiance Mask to boost absorption and encourage a more refined, luminous texture.

Frequently Asked Questions
C Serum uses ethyl ascorbic acid — a stable, fast-penetrating form of vitamin C — paired with niacinamide to refine texture, brighten dullness, and support overall clarity.
It is more stable, less irritating, and better absorbed than traditional L-ascorbic acid. Once absorbed, it converts into pure vitamin C inside the skin for optimal brightening and collagen support.
Yes. C Serum and niacinamide are fully compatible and can be used in the same routine. Vitamin C delivers antioxidant protection and brightening benefits, while niacinamide helps calm redness, support the barrier, and regulate oil. Apply C Serum first, then follow with your niacinamide step.
C Serum can be combined with certain retinoids, but not all.
You should only pair C Serum with retinaldehyde—not with retinol or prescription retinoic acid—unless your dermatologist has specifically cleared the combination for your skin. This guidance helps reduce irritation, since layering strong actives without proper spacing can overwhelm even resilient skin.
If your skin tolerates the pairing well, apply C Serum first, allow it to absorb for 15–30 minutes, and then apply your retinaldehyde. Follow with moisturizer to buffer the skin
C Serum + exfoliating acids + retinoids all in the same routine is often too much for the skin. To prevent over-exfoliation or barrier disruption, alternate nights or keep C Serum in the morning and resurfacing acids in the evening. If using exfoliating acids at night, skip retinoids or vitamin C that same evening.
Always let your skin guide you—if you notice sensitivity, redness, or tightness, scale back and simplify until balance is restored.
Its stabilized vitamin C derivative offers deeper penetration and less irritation, while niacinamide strengthens the skin barrier — all in a lightweight, naturally citrus-scented formula.
Both are effective, but morning use maximizes antioxidant protection. Always apply SPF when using during the day.
