The Tool

A simple tool
for visible movement.

Facial Cups use light suction and continuous movement to support lymphatic drainage, help boost circulation, and soften the look of puffiness.

This is the accessible silicone version. Easy to use, easy to clean, and designed for short, consistent sessions rather than aggressive technique.

Use after XO Essence with Protect Oil for slip. Keep the cups moving, avoid broken or irritated skin, and choose consistency over intensity.

The first tool I taught clients to use at home. Done lightly, daily. The closest thing to a spa habit you can build without booking a spa.

The Science

Cupping works through gentle suction and continuous glide. The cup lifts the skin slightly, supports lymphatic drainage, helps boost circulation, and creates the conditions for a more sculpted-looking finish. The non-negotiables: enough slip for glide, and never stationary suction.

01
Material / Silicone
Soft, flexible silicone with two cup sizes. Easy to use, easy to clean, and forgiving for first-time cupping. Lighter hand-feel than glass.
02
Prep / XO Essence
Apply XO Essence first. The conditioned surface gives the cups a base to move on and reduces drag in the first pass.
03
Slip / Protect Oil
Protect Oil is the non-negotiable. Apply enough for glide, and reapply if the cups start to stick or drag mid-session.
04
Technique / Light Suction, Keep Moving
Squeeze, place, release into gentle suction. Glide in slow strokes. Avoid stationary suction. The cup should travel across the skin, not stop on it.
05
Care / Wash, Rinse, Air Dry
Wash with warm water and mild soap after each use. Rinse fully and air dry before storing. Inspect cups periodically for tears or wear.
From the Treatment Room

Tips
from the spa.

How estheticians at Resonance Marin think about suction, direction, and frequency when working with the silicone cupping set.

Start at the Neck
Begin at the neck and move upward. Warming the neck first makes the rest of the work more effective and supports drainage from the start.
Keep Suction Light
Light suction is enough. Hard suction does not produce a better result. Use the squeeze that gives the cup just enough hold to travel.
Smaller Cup for Delicate Areas
Use the smaller cup around the eye contour, the lip area, and anywhere skin is thin. The smaller cup gives finer control and reduces marking risk.
Stop if Skin Reacts
Stop if you see persistent redness, bruising, or any discomfort. Do not use over active breakouts, broken skin, sunburn, or recent injectables.
The Details

Every question,
answered.

Formulated at Resonance Marin. Tested on real skin. These are the questions that matter most.

What is the difference between Facial Cups and XO Facial Cups?
Facial Cups are the accessible silicone version. XO Facial Cups are the premium glass and FSC-certified rubber version, designed around the XO sequence with a more refined hand-feel.
Do I need oil?
Yes. Use Protect Oil so the cups glide. Without slip, the cups drag and can mark or irritate the skin.
How often should I use them?
Start two to three times per week. Increase only if skin stays comfortable. Consistency over intensity.
Can I use them with injectables?
Wait at least seven to ten days, or follow your provider's guidance. Use light pressure and avoid treated areas.
Can they replace injectables?
No. They are a non-invasive tool for visible depuffing, circulation boost, and sculpting support.
How do I clean and care for them?
Wash with warm water and mild soap after each use. Rinse fully, air dry, and store in the pouch. Replace the set if a cup loses elasticity.
The Scent + Texture
Silicone.
Easy in, easy out.

Wash cups with warm water and mild soap after each use. Rinse fully and air dry before storing. Avoid extreme temperatures and sharp surfaces. Replace the set if a cup loses elasticity.
